BISSON LAB

We are a curiosity-driven research group working at the interface of archaeal cell mechanobiology, evolution, and biophysics. We investigate how forces, material properties, and self-organization create complex cell shapes and behavior from simple principles.

The Bisson Lab has a new home!

We are excited to be part now of the Biology Department at Indiana University, Bloomington.

We are recruiting postdocs and staff scientists with experience in multiple areas including advanced microscopy, soft-matter/biophysics, (bio)engineering, and synthetic biology. More details in JOIN.
